Robert Lowell Little, son of Gerald F. and Signe C. Lundquist Little, was born in Corning, Iowa, February 26, 1928 and passed away at the Spellman Memorial Hospital January 1, 1979, at the age of 50 years, 10 months, and 6 days.
He was united in marriage to Viola Marjorie Tally at Clarinda, Iowa, August 11, 1950. In the fall of 1953, he inducted into the U.S. Army where he served for two years. He has lived the last 25 years in Kansas City, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1935 and his mother in 1947; also one brother, Gerald Burton Little in 1960.
Robert was especially interest in mechanics which led to his club membership and collection of antique engine. He devoted much of his love to his wife and his many nieces, and nephews.
Survivors are; his wife, Marjorie Little of Kansas City, Missouri; two brothers, Carol e. Little of Corning, Iowa and Willard L Little of Omaha, Nebraska.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 5 at the Ashland Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri with Rev Owen Moody officiating. Music was provided by Bonnie Kuhn, organist and Church Gains, soloist. Pall bearers were Howard Jones, Warren Greene, Don Murphy, Joe Davis, Charles Carmack, W. S. Wonsetler, and E. Martin.
Graveside services were conducted by Rev. Howard Wells at the Prairie Rose Cemetery in Corning, Iowa on Saturday, January 6 at 2:00 p.m. Military rtes were conducted by the American Legion Ourcq Post #117. Pall bearers were Leslie Jackson, Byron Steadman, Terry Lundquist, Charles Lundquist, Ray Johnson, and Dean Johnson.
