Clyde Tucker of Brooks died Monday night at 12:10 of diabetes, being ill only a few hours. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Brooks Methodist Church and the services were conducted by Rev. Fred Moore. Interment was made in the Brooks Cemetery. Clyde Lorenzo Tucker was born May 26, 1903 in Brooks, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lovel Tucker. The father died March 12, 1910. The mother, Mrs. Vinnie Stevens resides at Peoria, Illinois, and with the grandmother, Mrs. Joe Gray of Keithsburg, Illinois, attended the funeral of their son and grandson. The child had always made his home with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Tucker of Brooks, where his death occurred. He is also survived by two brothers, Velmer and Russell
