TUCKER, MEANS

Miss Stella Ursula Tucker, one of our much respected young ladies, had to yield to the dreadful throes of consumption Friday morning. She had been a suffer the past two years or more. Everything had been done for her comfort, but to no avail and with a heart full of faith and hope, surrounded by all of the family, except a brother who is in the west and another who was in the country, she padded to the beyond. She was a member of the Christian Church from which the funeral was held Saturday at 3 p.m. Father Rowley preaching the discourse. A large audience was present, showing thereby their sympathy to the family and respect to the dead. The Christian Endeavor Society of which Miss Stella was a member sent a beautiful wreath of flowers.
