David Humphrey Narigon died at his home near Nodaway Monday, March 13, 1916, aged 32 years 1 months, 26 days. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock at the Presbyterian Church in Nodaway, conducted by Rev. J. K. Driver of Red Oak, a former pastor of Nodaway. Interment was made in the Nodaway Cemetery.
Mr. Narigon was born on the home farm near Nodaway, December 15, 1882. He is a son of Mrs. Joe Narigon, with whom he made his home. The cause of his death was chronic Bright's disease. Beside his mother, he leaves four sisters, Mrs. Nellie Bonnett, residing in Villisca, Mrs. Bell Toohey of Strand, Mrs. Susie Crawford of Nodaway, and Miss Addie Narigon of California; also two brothers, John and Oscar Narigon at home with the mother. Mr. Narigon was a highly respected gentleman and will be missed by his many friends.
