Harold R. Narigon, son of William and Maude Rider Narigon was born March 31, 1895 in Adams County, Iowa and passed away December 7, 1959 at the Greater Community Hospital in Creston, after a short illness.
He lived in Adams County until moving to Creston in 1941. He had been employed by the C.B.&Q Railroad since 1924 and had been an engineer for the past 10 years.
He is survived by his wife, Olive; a son, Harold Keith Narigon of Aurora, Illinois; a daughter, R. E. (Kathryn) Peterson of Villisca, 9 grandchildren, his step-mother, Mrs. Mae Narigon of Villisca, 3 sisters, Mrs. Jessie Kapple, Burlington, Mrs. Floral Murphy, and Mrs. Aurel Kendall of Villisca; 3 brothers, Garold J. Narigon of Fort Madison, Kenneth Narigon of El Monte, California, and Dwain Narigon of St. Louis, Missouri.
Funeral services were held from the Keting and Beemer Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon. Interment was in the Nodaway Cemetery.
