Ira Sankey Garner, son of Henry and Celia Evaline Winn Garner, was born November 29, 1880 at Bridgewater, Iowa and passed away Saturday, March 18, 1961 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Bruce at Villisca, Iowa. He had made his home with the Bruce family for the past 4 years.
He was united in marriage in 1911 to Niola O, Case, who passed away in 1913. He is survived by theee brothers, Fred of Bridgewater, Carlos of Bloomfield, and Glen of San Diego, California, and two sisters, Bertha Alexander and Mrs. Grace Campbell of Red Oak.
Services were held March 20, at 2 p.m. from the Roland Funeral HOme in Corning with interment in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
