Delmar Raymond Breach, son of Ray and Anna Alff Breach, was born at Walnut, Iowa Dec. 5, 1928 and passed away at 2 a. m., Nov. 2 at the Veteran's Hospital
in Omaha, Nebr., aged 39 years, 11 months and 3 days.
When he was a youth his family moved to a farm near Conway where he grew to manhood and received his education in Conway school. During these years he became a member of the Presbyterian Church of Sharpsburg, later transferring his membership to the Prescott Methodist Church.
He served his country in the US. Army from 1951 to 1953 spending 19 months of his service in Korea.
On June 6, 1956, he was united in marriage. to Ruth Helene Green at Prescott, where they made their home. Besides farm work, he was employed driving
a cream route and as a service station attendant for Joe Johnston and Bill Preston. He was a Charter member of the Prescott Volunteer Firemen & was given
an honorary membership when his health forced him to give up active duty.
He was preceded in death by his father in June, 1966.
Survivors, in addition to his wife and his mother are two brothers and two sisters, Dean W. and Kenneth M., both of Sharpsburg, Iowa; Mrs. Wm. (Norma) Culver
of Bellevue, Nebr.; Mrs. Wm. (Eleanor) Witt of Audubon, Iowa, one grandmother, Mrs. Anna Alff of Carson, Iowa; his beloved mother-in-law, Mrs. Ruth Green of Prescott; and a number of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins, as well as a host of friends.
He was a kind, loving husband and his pleasant disposition made him a friend to many who will sorely miss him.
Rev Wm. Fry, minister, officiated at the final rites at the Methodist Church in Prescott Saturday, Nov. 4th at 2:00 p. m. Interment was in the Prescott cemetery.
