Pugh, Allie Rose Ingram -
Allie Rose Ingrain was born in Cedar County, February 25, 1874, the daughter of James J. and Ida Dudley Ingram. She came to Prescott with her parents at
the age of one year and lived there and in the Stringtown community until moving to Arispe in 1944.
She was married at Prescott to Jacob Pugh, who preceded her in death in 1938.
She passed away at the Cresthaven Nursing Home in Creston where she had been a patient for the past eight months, on April 10th, 1967 at the age of 93
years, 1 month and 15 days. Faye, Nellie, and Roy had taken care of her for nearly two years prior to last July.
Mrs. Pugh is survived by four sons: Homer of Lenox; Roy of Arispe; Lester of Phoenix, Ariz.; and Lloyd of Selma, Are.; five daughters: Mrs. Harry (Nellie)
Penfold and Mrs. Howard (Faye) Lawrence of Corning; Mrs Ben (Pearl) Hetland of Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Edrte Kaiserlik of Cedar Falls; and Vera in the
Cresthaven Nursing Home in Creston; a brother Arthur Ingram of Los Angeles, Calif.; 19 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Irma Brown, two brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. at the Keating-McKasson Chapel at Creston April 12 with Rev. Donald Kinzler, pastor of the Arispe Methodist Church,
officiating.
Burial was at the Mount Zion Cemetery north of Prescott.
