Mrs. Bingley Means died Monday, November 19, 1917, aged 51 years 1 month and 12 days. Funeral services were held at the ;\M. E. church in Mt. Etna, Thursday, November 22, at 11 o'clock, conducted by Rev. A. Cupp Interment was made in the Mt Etna cemetery.
Susie Bailiff was born October 7, I886. She was married to Isaac Bingley Means December 17, 1884 in Adams county. Iowa. Mrs. Means was horn in Bureau County, Illinois, and came to Wright county, Iowa, and then to Hamilton county. When she was ten years of age she removed to Mt. Etna. Her mother, Mrs. Mattie Bailiff, died January 6, 1904, and her father, P. H. Bailiff, died March 25, 1914. To Mr. and Mrs. Means four children were born. They are Orlo J. Means, Peter O. Gleans, Jessie M Means, and Jabie F. Means, all residnig at home, except Peter. Mrs Means also left one grandson and nine brothers and sisters. The brothersand sisters are J. E.. Bailiff, of Mt Etna; Frank and Jessie Bailiff both of Colorado; Peter Bailiff, of Mt Etna; W. C. Bailiff, of Colorado; Mrs Maud Burgett, of Corning; E P Bailiff, of.Golden Valley, N. D.; Maggie Bailiff, of Mt. Etna, /and M. A Bailiff of Mt. Etna.
