DIED IN CANADA

Mrs. Noah Morgan King, formerly a resident of Adams County, Iowa, passed away from this life at the home of Mrs. Frank A. Barker, in Halbrite, Sask., Canada, Tuesday, September 7, 1920, aged 81 years, S months and S days. The body was brought to Coming the latter part of last week and the funeral services were held at the M E church in Quincy, Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, and the body as laid to rest in Quincy cemetery.

The home of Mr: and Mrs. King was formerly in Adams county, they having resided in Douglas township for some time. Mr. King was at one time a member of the board of supervisors of our county. About thirty years ago the family moved to Texas.
Later on Mrs. King went to Canada to the home of her daughter. Beside her husband who is now in Los Angeles, California, .Mrs. King is survived by the following children. Mrs. Frank A. Barker, of Canada; Mrs. A. C. Strait, of Adams county; Gus King, of Shenandoah; Mrs. D. S. Myers, of Webster City, Iowa. "Many friends regret the passing of Mr. King and sympathize with her loved ones in their loss.

The remains of Mrs. N. M. King, an old resident of this county, are expected to arrive some time today from Halbrite, Saskastchewan, Canada, where her death occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank A. Barker on Tuesday, aged 81 years, 8 months and 8 days. She was the wife of N. M. King, formerly of Douglas township and before their removal to Texas about thirty years ago, was a prominent citizen of the county and at one time was a member of the board of supervisors. Mr. King is now in the soldiers home in Los Angeles, California. Mrs. King was the mother of Mrs. A. C. Strait of this county, Gus King of Shenandoah, formerly of Carbon, and Mrs. D. S. Myers of Webster City, who is here. funeral arrangements have not been made, awaiting the arrival of the remains. The interment will be in Quincy Cemetery.
