Goodale, Cora -
Cora Goodale, daughter of Charles and Loretta Goodale, was born at Kalamazoo, Michigan November 9, 1859. With her family she came to Corning, Iowa where she resided for many years. She resided at Lebanon, Missouri for two years, returning to Iowa she settled with her sister, Miss Carrie Goodale, in Lenox to make her home in the same town as their brother, Geo. L. Goodale, and his family. Ill health confined her to her home but she was not confined to her bed until the last five days. She passed away at 9:30 p. m. on Thursday evening, July 26 at the age of 74 years, 8 months and 17 days.

Funeral services were held a the Barber Funeral home Saturday afternoon, July 28, conducted by Rev. F. L. Shepherd. Music was furnished by Mrs. F
L. Shepherd, Mrs. Donald Dunbar and Miss Marcia Barber. After the services here her body was taken to Corning and laid beside her mother and other relatives in the family lot there.
