Wm. Van Houten died Saturday night, February 3, at his home northeast of Corning. He was 65 old December 11, and had spent his entire life in the same neighborhood. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. A. E. Caven of Lenox, his wife and six children. His death was the first break in his own family.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 6 at the Methodist church in Corning, conducted by Bev. Eastman. Music was furnished by the choir from,the little Mount Pleasant church, near his home.
