Johnson, Phylis -
Miss Phylis Johnson, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Johnson, of Nevinville, was instantly killed Sunday evening just north of the city limits of Corning, when the car in which she was riding, struck a car which was stalled at the side of the road. The young woman was thrown under the car and her neck was broken.

A cloud of dust prevented the driver from seeing the other car.
