The death of Mrs. Hester White occurred Sunday afternoon, June 19, 1932, brought pain to many people and relief to Mrs. White who has for a number of years suffered.

The funeral will be held this Thursday afternoon at the home and will be conducted in the beautiul yard at the old home place where Mrs. White had lived so many years. Rev. McClelland, an old friend of the family, will have charge of the funeral. Interment will be made in Prairie Rose Cemetery.

Hester Cunningham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cunningham, was born April 7, 1858, in Johnson County, Iowa, and died June 19, 1932, at the age of 74 years, 2 months, 12 days. She passed away at the old home place where she had been tenderly cared for by her son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar White.

She was married to Joseph D. White in Brooks, Iowa, on March 31, 1874, and the two spent the intervening years, until their death, in this county. Mrs. White had been a faithful member of the Fairview Christian Church until her failing health made it impossible for her to attend.

She is survived by four sons; Wilber and O.L. of Oakland, California, Lloyd of San Francisco, California and Oscar who is on the home place.
