Funeral services for Mrs. Oscar A. (Cora) White, 83. of Bedford, Iowa, formerly of Gravity, Iowa, were held May 4, 1970, at Shum -Novinger Funeral Home in Bedford, Iowa, conducted by Rev. Ottie Odle. Mrs. White died at Northgate Manor Nursing Home in Corning, Iowa, on April 30, 1970. Interment was in the Washington Cemetery, Gravity, Iowa.

Cora Ann Pepler, daughter of George and Susan Pepler, was born January 1, 1887. On May 26, 1915, she was united in marriage to Oscar A. White.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. She is survived by a brother, James Richardson, of Bedford, Iowa; two sisters, Catherine Roberts of Bedford, Iowa and Elnora Hunt of Omaha, Nebraska, several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was a member of the Gravity Christian Church and Order of Eastern Star of Bedford. She was a loving sister, a wonderful friend and a kind neighbor to all. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
