The remains of Mrs. Frank M. Hinds, of Kansas City, Missouri, were brought to Brooks, where the funeral was held Saturday at the old home on the lawn. The services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Dicks, of the Villisca Adventist Church and interment was made in the family burial ground in the Nodaway Cemetery. A large number of old friends attended the funeral and the floral offering was profuse. Four brothers of the deceased acted as pallbearers.

Blanche, youngest daughter of Alfred and Elizabeth White, was born at Brooks, Iowa, June 22, 1878, and was aged 44 years and 20 days at the time of her death. She was married to Frank M Hinds, of Kansas City, Missouri, October 12, 1915. Her father, Alfred White, one of the early pioneers of Adams County, passed away many years ago. The mother, Mrs. W.D. Bryson, still lives at the old homestead.

The following brothers and sister survive the sister; Charles White, Plainview, Texas; Frank, Arthur and Floyd of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Fred of Brooks and Mrs. Chrome Hupp of Los Angeles, California. The immediate cause of her death was an operation of a serious nature which occurred in a hospital in her city on June 12, 1922.
