MARRIED

Helen Bauer and Jay Beemer, both of Corning were quietly married Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Methodist parsonage in Rockport, Mo. the pastor of the Methodist church performed the ceremony and the bride and groom were accompanied by friends fro Farragut, Iowa. Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Beemer left in their car for Denver where they will spend their honeymoon. After January 1st they will be at home in Corning.

Mr. Beemer has been employed for the past few weeks selling cars for the John Anderson Company and Mrs. Beemer has, for a number of years, been employed as assistant in the treasurer’s office. Mrs. Beemer was born and reared in Corning, graduating from the Corning high school and acquiring a musical education which makes her outstanding in musical circles. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Henry Bauer.
