Hiram Baker and Miss Katie [Kate] Day were married at the residence of the mother of the bride in Corning on Wednesday evening in the presence of a small number of friends, Rev. Dr. Vinson of the M. E. church saying the service. The bridal couple departed the same evening on a wedding trip.
