MARRIED
Mrs. Lydia Brown and Benjamin Asquith, both of Corning, were married last Thursday evening, December 11,1919, at the home of the bride in east Corning. Rev. E.A. Moore, pastor of the M.E. Church, performed the ceremony in the presence of only a few relatives. Mrs. Asquith is a daughter of Abel Gill.
She has spent most of her lifetime in Corning and is well known to most of our readers. Mr. Asquith has not been a resident of our city a great length of time, but he has made many friends here. He came to Corning from Bedford. Mr. Asquith is employed on the section at present. He and his bride expect to make Corning their home for the present and in the spring expect to locate in Illinois. Friends are extending best wishes and congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Asquith. Guests at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Engstrom, Mrs. Bert Gibson and Glen Brown, son of the bride.
