Christmas evening, December 25, 1917, Charles D. Johannes, of Lincoln township, and Miss Bertha L. Krauth, of Massena, were united in marriage by Rev. A. Y. Cupp at his residence, near Carbon. The contracting parties were attended by John Krauth and Annabel Johannes, of Massena. The newly wedded young people have been receiving the hearty congratulations and well wishes of their friends for a long and prosperous wedded life.
