Adams County Union-Republican, Corning, Iowa
January 22, 1913, Page 5

A quiet wedding took place Sunday evening, January 19th, 1913, at 6 o'clock at the home of the officiating clergyman, Rev. A. A. Walburn in our city, when Miss Dollie Lawrence became the wife of Arnold Spring. The bride wore a dainty white gown. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Schfroth were bridesmaid and groomsman.
Miss Lawrence has spent most of her lifetime in this vicinity, up to the time her parents died she lived west of Corning, then in Brooks and later in our city. She is one of our best young ladies.
The groom was reared south of Brooks and is known to many of our readers. He is a hustling young man. The past three years he has been proving up on a claim near Degrey, S. D. After the ceremony light refreshments were served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarene Schfroth, the latter being a sister of the bride. After spending about a week with Mr. Spring's parents and other relatives here the bride and groom will leave for South Dakota, where they will make their home.Friends wish them a happy and successful future.
