Johnson-McRoberts- On Saturday evening, October 24, 1896, at the home of Rev. J.A. Lovejoy and by him, Mr. Chas. Johnson of this city and Miss Jessie McRoberts, of Shenandoah.
Mr. Johnson is an enterprising and industrious young man who has been engaged in the restaurant business here at intervals for the past few years. In fact he has grown from childhood in Corning and has many friends who are extending hearty congratulations and best wishes over the event. Miss McRoberts is an estimable young lady of Sheandoah, where she has a large circle of friends who will regret her departure from their midst.
