The Adair News, March 19, 1943:

Funeral services for Mrs. Flora Estella Bechtol, 70, were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Presbyterian church. The rites were conducted by the pastor, the Rev. F. P. Pfaltzgraff. Pallbearers were Phil McAndrews, S. W. Carney, Ben Tommerdahl, J. H. Wark, John Pettinger and John S. Woods. Interment was in Sunnyhill Cemetery.
