Funeral services for Anne Feazell, age 5, only daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Dale Feazell of Woodward, who was fatally injured in a truck-station wagon collision July 31 at Brule, Nebr. were held at St.Anne's Catholic Church in Woodward at 10a.m. Monday Aug.6 with Father Gerald Stessman conducting the Mass of the Angels. Altar boys were Phil Polish, Ronnie Battani & John Meneough.
Music was by Faye Harman church organist. The children's choir from the Granger Assumption Church sang. Casket bearers were John Platt, Harry Cole of Massena, Joe Zagnoli & Bud Epling. Burial was in the Woodward Cemetery.
Anne & her family were enroute home from a vacation trip out west when the fatal accident occurred. Mrs. Feazell received no injuries, Mr. Feazell received several cracked ribs, & the 3 Feazell sons George, David & Matt were all hospitalized at Ogallala, Nebr. George & Matt were released several days later, but David remained in the hospital there till Thursday August 9th. Anne was one of the 2 children thrown from the station wagon.
