Henry Funke 87, of Long Beach, California, former Greenfield business man, died Tuesday Dec. 26, 1962, according to word received by relatives here.
Mr. & Mrs. Funke and family left Greenfield in 1931 for California, which has been their home since. Mr. & Mrs. Funke at one time operated Hotel Greenfield & Mr. Funke was engaged in the shoe business here, before going to California.
He suffered a stroke 5 years ago, but died as a result of pneumonia. His wife preceded him in death.
Survivoring are his 2 daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Myers & Mrs. Marian Stevens, both of Long Beach. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Frank of Montana & Art in California & 3 sisters, Clara & Nellie in California & Gertrude of St.Louis.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 28.
