Flora M.Jones daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Jones was born at Fontanelle, Ia., Jan.29,1869, and passed away at her home 6 miles north of Brooklin, April 8, 1927 at the age of 58 years, 2 months and 8 days.
On Dec.25,1886, she was united in marriage to Louis Kent and to this union 1 child was born. She had resided near Brooklin since her marriage and during that time she made a host of friends and was loved by all in their neighboring territory. She was a member of the Christian Church and had always lived a good Christian life.
She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, a daughter, 3 grandchildren and Harry Kent who she raised from infancy.
The funeral services were held from the Kent Chapel Sunday Afternoon with Rev.E.W.F.Holler officiating. The pallbearers were John Montgomery, George Brimmer, William Shaffer, Albert Spaulding, Theo.Buchenan and A.L.Duffus. Interment was in the Kent Cemetery.
