Edith M. Glade, 96, of Panora died of a respiratory, ailment Saturday at Panora Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Beidelman Funeral Home in Panora, with burial at West Cemetery there.

Mrs. Glade was born in Fontanelle and had lived in the Adair and Guthrie County areas all of her life. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are four sons, Leonard, Eugene and Merlin, all of Guthrie Center and Glen of Bartlett, Ill;, two daughters, Velma Kester of Guthrie Center and Loraine Jorgensen of
Pahrump, Nev.; two brothers, Charles Evans of Memphis, Tenn.,nd Edgar Evans of Chicago; 25 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. today at the funeral home, where the family, will be present from 7 to 8 p.m. ~ The Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa Wed 30 June 1989.
