MARY JOHNSON

On Thursday morning, the silent messenger entered the home of Alvin Johnson and wife and bore from their midst, their oldest daughter, Mary. While their hearts are torn at the parting, there comes a sweet solace, she suffers no more, but is now with the redeemed on Heavn's bright shore. She is waiting for them; they will see her again.

After short services at the home, conducted by Rev. R. G. Clark, the body was taken to Greenfield, where funeral services were again held. Interment in the Greenfield cemetery, besides relatives of the family, Cyrus Mease and wife and daughter, Geo. Hann and family accompanied the bereaved father and mother and brother and sisters.
