Afton, Iowa, Mar. 17, 1892

Mr. F. Wimmer, aged 75 years, an old resident of Union township, Adair county, and one of the pioneer citizens of that locality and well known in Creston, died Monday of old age and paralysis of the throat. The interment occurred Tuesday at Liberty cemetery in Union township. Mr. Wimmer leaves a large family of sons and daughters who reside in different portions of that locality, and he was one of the most respected and esteemed residents of his community. His cheerful presence will be missed in the gatherings of the locality. The hearty sympathy of all is extended to the bereaved family.
