KATE SCHWEERS

After a long illness from tubercolosis, Miss Kate Schweers, aged nineteen years in May, died this morning at the home of her parents, Mr. & Mrs. John Schweers at 311 South Elm street, at 9:10 this morning. The young lady moved to this city with her parents about three years ago. Mr. Schweers is a retired farmer.

The funeral will take place at 2:30 Sunday afternoon at Hill of Zion cemetery in Madison county, which is close to where the family formerly lived and the services will be conducted by Rev. Ingram. The death of the young lady has brought great sorrow to the home which will miss her sunny disposition, and the sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved family in this hour of sorrow.

Transcriber's note: This person died in Union County and is buried in the Hill of Zion Cemetery, Adair County, Iowa. The reference to Madison County is in error.
