Unofficial county historian Bill Heusinkveld wrote about pioneer days for The Daily Iowegian, Centerville's newspaper, from historical accounts and other sources.  Bill has bound these articles into a book that he has self-published.  Included here is a name and place index of these stories, and information on how to obtain a copy of Bill's book.
