Harper Estate, refund of $3.00 tax granted on account of erroneous assessments on the undivided ½ of all lots in that portion of the town of Winfield, laid out in Lot No. 6 Sec. 24-94-3 for the years 1865 to 1872, inclusive

Jas O'Donnell, reduction to $2.25/acre of the assessment on west part of NE ¼ of Sec 19-99-5, for years 1873 & 1874

Jas O'Donnell, reduction to $1.75/acre of the assessment on NWSE & ESW Sec 17-98-6, for years 1873 & 1874

Jas O'Donnell, reduction to $1.00/acre of the assessment on SWSE Sec 15-96-5, for years 1873 & 1874

Jas O'Donnell, reduction to $0.75/acre of the assessment on NWNE Sec 22-96-5

Jeremiah Ryan, refunded the tax on that portion of Lot 6 in Sec 24-97-3, covered by Town Lots

Neil Harkins, refunded the tax on four acres of land for the years 1868 to 1872 inclusive, on account of erroneous assessment

Ed Brownell, treasurer was authorized to correct the tax receipt fo rthe year 1864, by changing the description from Block one, Village Creek, to Block one Milton.

Mrs. C.A. Franklin, petition for reduction of assessment. Rejected.

Samuel Biggs, petition for the abatement of penalty on deliquent tax of 1867 & 1868 on Lots 1, 2, 5 & 6 in Block 14 in the village of Volney. Granted on payment of principal and 10% interest.

Eilen Burke, petition for reduction of assessment. Rejected.

F.M. Robinson, petition for for abatement of personal tax of F.M. Robinson & Co. Penalty abated on payment of principal & 10% interest. Petition for reduction of assessment of E½ SE½ Sec [11 or 14] -98-4. Rejected.

A.B. Frink, petition to refund personal tax and penalty on his redeeming the N½ SW&S½ NW Sec 39-97-6. Granted.

William Staundinger, petition to refund the principal, interest & cost paid for the delinquent taxes of 1858, 1859, 1860, 1861, 1862, 1863, 1864 & 1865, on the SW¼ of the SE½ Sec 39-96-4, lands sold at tax sale belonging to government. Granted.

C.E. Woodbury, petition for abatement of taxes for 1873. Rejected.

Thos. Gallice, petition for reduction of assessment. Rejected.

Joseph Fuller, petition to abate penalty on personal tax for 1868 & 1869. Granted on payment of principal & 10% interest.

Isaac Watkins, petition to abate penalty on personal tax for 1870. Granted on payment of principal & 10% interest.

Wm. Brownelle, petition for reduction of assessment of personal property for 1874 to $500. Granted on condition that the Board of Trustees of Lafayette tp recomment the reduction asked for.

Thos. Reach, petition for reduction of assessment. Rejected.
W. Werhan, , petition for reduction of assessment of 1874. Assessment reduced to $1200.

H.R. & E.M. Judd, petition to apply tax paid on lots 3 & 4 block 13, to lots 5 & 6 block 13 in Volney. Granted.

Patrick Ryan, petition for reduction of assessment of property. Rejected.

E.N. Fish, petition to refund principal and interest tax paid by him on lot 5 Sec 23-100-4. Rejected. Petition to reduce the assessment of the E½ NW 14 and W½ NE 14-96-4 and refund tax on same. Rejected.

Joseph Cook, petition for reduction of assessment of property. Rejected.

Mrs. McCoy, petition to abate tax on lots 142 & 143 in Harpers Ferry. Granted.

Patrick Maley, petion for abatement of penalty on tax of 1858, on lots 5 & 6 in block 4 in Village Creek. Granted on payment of principal & 10% interest.

A. Hart, petition for reduction of assessment of 1874 and refunding tax of 1873. Rejected.

A. Goodykoontz, petition for abatement of penalty on personal tax of 1868 & 1869. Granted on payment of principal & 10% interest.

Engbretson, petition for refunding tax of 1867 with 10% interest. Granted.

F.S. Burling, petition to refund to A.W. McCready, tax & 10% interest paid on erroneous assessment. Granted.

Theo. Schwartzhoff, petition for reductio of assessment for 1874 on N½ NE Sec 23-100-6. Granted.

C.O. Roese, treasurer was authorized to refund principal of tax paid by him for the year 1866.

Bridget Burns, petition granted for abatement of tax for 1873 on S ½ SE Sec 5-98-6

Jno Mobly, petition granted for abatement of penalty on tax of 1866 to 1873 inclusive, on N½ of lots 6 & 7 block 41 Lansing. Granted on payment of principal and 10% interest.

A.M. May, petition to abate penalty on tax of 1870. Not granted.

E.P. Butler, petition to refund the tax of 1870 on NW NW SE Sec 19-97-5. Deferred to Oct. session.

K. Sobiason, petition for refunding of all taxes and costs paid by him on the sale of the SW¼ of SE¼ Sec 34-97-3, he claiming that said sale is erroneous. Deferred to Oct. session.

P. Gallagher, petition for the reduction of the assessment of 1873 on the E½ NE Sec 32, SENE & NESE Sec 33-99-6. Not granted.

S.F. Goodykoontz, petition to abate personal property tax of 1865. Not granted.

J.F. Wilkins, petition for the refunding of excess tax paid by him for the year 1870. Deferred to Oct. session.

J.F.D. Newcomb - petition granted, abatement of taxes on his homestead in Linton twp. for the year 1900

Mrs. Patrick Morrison - petition granted, abatement of taxes

Mrs. Christ Ruud - petition granted, abatement of taxes, except as to future taxes

J.S. Thompson - petition granted, abatement of poll tax, except as to county poll

Edward Welsh - petition granted, abatement of taxes for the year 1900

Pat Calahan et al - petition granted, abatement of penalty on taxes

Doehler Bros., Lafayette township - ordered that the total assessment for years 1898, 1899 & 1900 be reduced to $1286.00
