This photo of Decoration Day in Waukon, 1870, taken of Allamakee Street, looking towards the north.
The old courthouse (built in 1861) can be seen in the upper right of the picture.
No one in the photo has been identified, but many of the men marching in the parade are probably Civil War veterans.
