In the name of God, Amen. I, Peter RUSH, of Rossville, Allamakee Co. State of Iowa being of sound mind and memory, do hereby make and publish and declare this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former Wills by me at any time made.

First – I order and direct my Executors as soon after my decease as practicable to pay off and discharge all the debts, dues and liabilities that may exist against me at the time of my decease.

Second – I give and bequeath unto my wife Nancy E. RUSH and to her heirs and assigns forever all the Property, Real and Personal, including all lands, tenements and hereditaments of which I may be seized at the time of my death.

Third – I hereby nominate and appoint W.S. RUSH and James BRYSON Sr. both of Allamakee Co. Iowa as Executors of this my last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this 13th day of November A.D. 1878.

The State of Iowa, Allamakee County, ss. I, H.O. DAYTON, Clerk of the Circuit Court within and for the County of Allamakee, State of Iowa, hereby certify that on the 21 day of October A.D. 1880 the foregoing instrument of writing, purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Peter RUSH late of said County, deceased, was by the said Court duly allowed and admitted to probate according to law, its execution having been duly proven according to law.

Witness: H.O. DAYTON, Clerk of said Court and the Seal thereof, of Waukon, this 23rd day of November A.D. 1880.
