I, Evan [sic] Henry being of sound mind and memory
and of the age of sixty nine years, and resident of
Allamakee County, Iowa, do hereby make, publish and
declare this to be my last will and testament hereby
revoking any former will be [sic] me at any time
heretofore made.
Item I. I hereby direct
my Executor to pay all of my just debts and funeral
expenses.
Item II. I hereby give,
bequeath and dvise [sic], all of my property to my
daughters, Hannah Haas, Mathilda Gruber, Ella Gruber,
and Clara Leppert and to my sons, Charles Henry,
Andrew Henry, John Henry and Joseph Henry, and to the
children of my deceased daughter, Mary Gruber, and it
is my will that each of my said named sons and
daughters shall receive each an undivided one-ninth
(1/9) of my estate, and the children of my deceased
daughter Mary Gruber to receive one-ninth of my
estate, said children being named Florence Gruber,
Clifford Gruber and Harold Gruber, and the said
Florence, Gruber, Clifford Gruber and Harold Gruber
are each to share alike in the one-ninth bequeathed
to them.
Item III. I hereby
nominate and appoint my son, Andrew Henry as Executor
of this my last will and hereby exonerate him from
giving bonds as such Executor.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF if have hereunto
set my hand as and for my last will and testament
this 18th day of September, 1918.

I,.Wm. F. Shafer, Clerk of the aforesaid Court, do
hereby certify that on the 8th day of January, A.D.,
1923, the foregoing instrument was by the said court
duly allowed and admitted to probate as the last will
and testament of Eva Henry, deceased, late of
aforesaid county and state, its execution as such
being at that time duly proven according to law.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the Seal of said court at Waukon, Iowa, this
8th day of January 1923
