1936 newspaper clipping: "Next month the Reverend H.H. Fletcher will begin his second year as pastor of the New Albin and French Creek Methodist Episcopal churches.  Sunday his French Creek church had homecoming services.  Before coming to Allamakee county, Reverend Fletcher was pastor of the Batavia, Iowa, M.E. church."
