This cemetery was initially thought not to have been included in the Woodmansee book, but Dale Woodmansee did include it in his book, under the name West Waterloo Ridge cemetery.

The Miner Farm cemetery was previously believed to be located in Highland twp. Winneshiek county. A Warranty Deed recorded Feb 10, 1994, found in Book 427, page 255, Winneshiek co. Court House, Decorah, Iowa gives the location in Allamakee county. Miner Farm cemetery is in Waterloo twp. Section 7, a short distance south of county road A-16 on Lilac Dr.

The image on the right shows the location of the cemetery. Land west of the county line is in Winneshiek co. and to the east is in Allamakee co.
