50th Wedding Anniversary of Bernard & Lucille (Troendle) Mauss
June 17, 1989 in New Albin, Iowa

Married 20 June 1939 in Lansing, Iowa
Barney and Lucy pledged their love
to each other 50 years ago,
Beginning on a course of propagation
to last hundreds of years or so.

Loving the small town life,
in New Albin they did stay.
Many chicks, children and houses
Were raised along the way.

Enjoying retirement is their newfound art,
With card playing, gardening and dancing for a start.

On this special day,
With family and friends their greatest wealth,
May God bless them with many more years
Of happiness and health.
