In May 2005, my daughter and I visited Adair County and its cemeteries. We drove to every one except those that were on private property or otherwise inaccessible. I will be putting on photos for each and a small commentary. We visited right before Memorial Day which was a perfect time to see them in their prime. The peonies were in full bloom and gorgeous! Fairview Cemetery was behind the Congregational Christian Church. The wind was blowing a gale when we were there, so I wasn't able to stay long. There were two men mowing getting it ready for Memorial Day. |
