Dale “Stretch” Stuhr, 66, of Clarion passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm on June 3, 2023 at West Twin Parks. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the services.

Dale VerDean Stuhr, son of Howard and Alvera Peters Stuhr, was born January 11, 1957 in Ida Grove. He graduated from Webster City high school in 1975. In 1978, Dale was united in marriage to DaleLeAnn Keller in Webster City. Over the years the couple resided in California, Iowa, and Florida. Dale had worked for Teamsters union as a delivery driver and the Fort Dodge Correctional Facility until his retirement in 2015.

He is survived by his wife, DaleLeAnn of Clarion; sons, Cory (Tatum) Stuhr of Duncombe, Christopher Stuhr of Clearwater Beach, FL; grandchildren, Jamin, Joleah, Kiaunna, Braedin; sisters, Donna Stacy, Doris Chalfant both of Webster City, Diana Stuhr of North Carolina, Darnell Knauss of Settle, WA, Deb (Tom) Lovelace of Decatur, IL; brother, Doug (Laurie) Stuhr of Georgia; sisters-in-law, Pam Brockman, Teri Schorzmann both of Clarion and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents; brothers-in-law, Sam Chalfant, Jerry Stacy and niece, Brenda Stacy, Mother and Father-in-law, Dale and Patty Keller.
